On 19th of March 1982, Hans got married to Vicki Carolin. As a loving husband and wife, they also welcomed a child together. They were together as a loving spouse for about a decade and they got divorced on 7th of April 1992.

In 1990, he composed the music of the short movie Arcadia. In 1990, he also composed the music of the movies like Chicago Joe and the Showgirl, Bird on a Wire Fools of Fortune and so on.
